Standard Rates (per hour) We will charge per every 30mins, after first hour.
We believe in 100% transparent charges and we have a clear, upfront, open and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown here, and our friendly and helpful staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job. Our pricing is ‘middle of the road’ but our service is second to none as our customers will testify.

Disposal of equipment removed by Vassell’s Commercial & Domestic Engineers LTD, up to 120 kg, will be subject to disposable charge of £50
Our Rates: An initial hour is charged on all jobs, if the engineer after conducting a visual inspection diagnosis that the job will exceed the hour, the responsible person will be informed either by the engineer or the office to obtain permission to proceed. The client will then be charged in 30-minutes increments (most other companies charge in 1 hour ). All cost mentioned above exclude materials and are subjected to VAT.
Booking an engineer: In order to secure an appointment, the initial hour must be paid in advance. If the engineer that is booked attends your property and is unable to gain access to or has been denied access of, you will not be entitled to a refund. If for some unknown reason you are unable to keep the booking and you would like to cancel the appointment, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice must be given to the office. Failure to notify us of the cancellation, charges will apply for the first hour. If equipment & materials are purchased for a job and the job as been cancelled due to no fault of Vassell’s Commercial, a 20% handling fee of the total cost of the material will apply, if the supplier wishes to take the materials back. However, if the materials are purchased on a special order and are subjected to no refund, then the full cost of the material must be paid.
Estimates can be provided on request.
Fixed Prices can be given if requested either verbal or a written quotation by our office before work commences and are subject to VAT.
Materials supplied by Vassell’s Commercial & Domestic Engineers Ltd will be charged at trade price plus 20% mark up and are subject to VAT. Any appliance installed, or parts replaced by us will remain in the property of VCDE until full payment has been made.
Material Collection: Time for non-stock items will be kept to a minimum – any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance and will not exceed £35 + VAT.
The Invoice presented will clearly show a brief description of work carried out and a full breakdown of Labour and Materials.
Payment must be made in full by credit card or bank transfer to Vassell’s Commercial & Domestic Engineers LTD upon receipt of the invoice.
We do not charge for travelling, parking, congestion or extra for call-out – we have no hidden charges.
Furniture and appliances: Our engineer will not move any pieces of furniture or appliances, is our client’s responsibility to remove any objects from the area where our engineer will have to carry out works.
